  Cultural Alignment

Organisations that understand what drives their people have a huge competitive advantage. In successful companies, these drivers are closely aligned with the values that the company holds dear. On the other hand, misaligned values often lead to high levels of frustration and adversely affect productivity.

Leaders who wish to shape the behaviours of their staff need to understand the cultural status of their organisation, provide a structure and forum within which staff can become active participants in improving performance and contribution, and understand where they need to self-improve as a means to cultural accountability.

TowerStone’s People Alignment offering helps leaders define a quantifiable starting point from which to measure the sometimes intangible success of culture change interventions, and empowers them with the cultural alignment tools that will allow them to shape behaviours.

We do this through our cultural alignment offerings:

  • TowerStone’s Values Alignment Assessment provides a comprehensive, diagnostic analysis of the As-Is and To-Be desired state of an organisational culture. The outputs are tangible, easily-understood indices and metrics that can be used at all management levels.
  • TowerStone employs one of the world’s most widely used cultural assessment tools, the Barrett Cultural Transformation Tool (CTT®), to ascertain where the critical areas of misalignment between staff and the organisation are. This tool also shows whether the driving values are being lived, and if not, determine the reasons for those behavioural gaps. We then engage with representative workgroups drawn to uncover the growth-limiting behaviours in terms of real-life work situations. TowerStone is an accredited CTT® (Cultural Transformation Tools) consulting centre.
  • Our G.A.P (Group Accountability Programme) methodology allows organisational growth interventions to be deployed in workgroups as measured and planned projects. The CTT assessment is used to continuously track and measure the progress in desired organisational behaviours, and more importantly how employees are growing toward becoming active participants and brand ambassadors.
  • Our Reason for Being is a one-day workshop aimed at all levels of the organisation, an experiential brand ambassador workshop designed to create a common understanding of the culture of an organisation, and what it means to live the brand.

Using these diagnostics, we gain insight into the inner workings of the organisation. We hold follow-up sessions based on survey results, and incorporate the outcomes of these sessions into strategic planning for organisational growth and development.
