John Volmink Chairperson
John Volmink was born and raised in Cape Town, South Africa. He started his academic career at the University of Western Cape, South Africa and completed his PhD in mathematics education at Cornell University, Ithaca NY in 1988. He held various teaching positions including the University of Western Cape, University of Cape Town and Cornell University. He returned to Southern Africa in 1990 after almost a decade in the USA.
After a brief stay at the University of Botswana in Gabarone he returned to South Africa in 1991 and immediately got involved in development initiatives as the Director of the Centre for Advancement of Science and Mathematics Education in Durban, South Africa as well as other partnership programmes in KwaZulu-Natal and elsewhere in South Africa. John later served as Pro-Vice Chancellor: Partnership at the University of KwaZulu-Natal until 2004. During his term at the University of KwaZulu-Natal he was responsible for partnership programmes with business, government and the community and served as the Executive Director of the Development Foundation of the University.
He has also been centrally involved in curriculum reform in post-apartheid South Africa and has been asked by the Minister of Education to play a leading role in the transformation of education in the new South Africa. John is the Chairperson of Umalusi Council for Quality Assurance in General and Further Education and Training, a statutory organisation which monitors and improves the quality of general and further education and training in South Africa. He is also the Principal and Chief Executive Officer of Cornerstone Christian College
John and his wife Engela, who is also a teacher, work together in voluntary community based educational projects in the Cape Town area with a focus on young people.
Currently Chairperson of the International Partnership Network (IPN) and also the Chairperson of the Board of a large South African publishing company, John continues to provide leadership on the Boards of several South African non-governmental development organisations involved in education, health and community upliftment. |

Brian Eagar CEO, Director, Consultant, Facilitator
Brian, Gary Dobkins and Mandy Eagar formed TowerStone in 2006 with a vision of uplifting people in their work life based on the concept of unlocking Brand Ambassadors and living a secondary role.
Brian's key roles are setting purpose and strategy, business development as well as overseeing regulatory and financial disciplines. He is also actively involved in delivery with multiple facilitation, coaching and business consulting responsibilities.
Prior to forming TowerStone, Brian had many years experience as an executive leader within a large multinational technology company, culminating as head of global sales strategy in Munich, Germany. Brian's success and passion has always been underpinned by his desire to uplift and grow people. The ability to bring together a diversity of skills, personas and values into one cohesive, high performance unit has always been an underpinning success factor. It is this philosophy which enables TowerStone to deliver the value that it does. Brian's purpose is to make a difference in the lives of all those that he touches. |

Gary Dobkins Director Strategy and Consulting
Gary is primarily responsible for business consulting, project delivery and programme management, and is actively involved in facilitating various programmes.
Prior to forming TowerStone, Gary was a senior business consultant for a large multinational technology company. Gary facilitated relationships between people, business and technology in multiple projects and programmes, locally and internationally, over a corporate career of 15 years. He also has a 10 year academic and research background with a Masters degree in Biological Sciences from the University of Port Elizabeth.
His passion, underpinning the purpose of TowerStone, is to expand leaders' awareness of the incredible potential that we all have within us, and then to help them understand how to unlock that potential. |

Mandy Eagar Director, Operational Head TowerStone Companies
Prior to forming TowerStone with Brian and Gary, Mandy had many years of experience working in the sales environment of a large American software development company.
Mandy managed the Cape Town operation where she was responsible for the regional sales as well as the management of her teams.
Mandy is responsible for all operational aspects within TowerStone.
Her areas of responsibility includes Marketing, HR and Finance.
She is the Chairperson for TowerStone HeartStart Foundation. TowerStone HearStart has developed programmes aimed at assiting with the positive development of children from all walks of life. it has also launched the National Values Campaign for our country.
She is passionate about children and believes that children should be shaped and nurtured from an early age to help them reach their full potential.
She is motivated by a belief that choice, not chance determines human destiny. |

Adriaan Groenewald Director
Adriaan Groenewald presented the Leadership Platform Radio Show for three years, of which the third year was also broadcasted on Summit TV. He currently has a weekly full page column on the back page of the Star Workplace.
This platform is utilised to write about interviews with top leaders and principles he has learnt not only from the interviews but years of coaching and consulting at the highest levels of organisations.
He has interviewed more top leaders on life and leadership than anyone in South Africa and continues to engage leaders and their organisations as an interviewer, author, leadership strategist and leader in TowerStone.
Adriaan co-authored a book called 'CEO Leadership Handbook'.
He wrote a second book called 'Moving Towards Your Leadership Destiny'. His next book 'Seamless Leadership and Life Lessons from South Africa' is ready for publication.
He completed a Bachelor degree in Psychology as well as diplomas in various other fields of interest, including a Post Graduate Business qualification from the University of Hull in the UK, which was on a Masters Degree level.
As a family man that enjoys the bush he also loves getting involved in South Africa to make it a better place. He is currently a founding partner of the 'Seamless Institute' - an organisation dedicated to breaking down barriers to successful movement in society, organisations, families and even in the lives of individuals. |

Doreen Nel Director, Facilitator, Consultant
Doreen Nel joined TowerStone in March 2007. Her key responsibility areas are that of facilitation and project management.
Prior to joining TowerStone Doreen Nel has worked within the Human Resources and Organisational Development field. She has acquired a huge amount of knowledge over the past 18 years as a professional within this field. The last seven years was spent facilitating all over Africa around the concepts of management and leadership within the retail vertical market.
Doreen is accredited HBDI (Hermann Brain Dominance Instrument) and Barrett’s practitioner.
Her passion is to facilitate an empower others. She is motivated by the belief that one need to seek wisdom and surround oneself with the smartest people that one can find. |

Khemil Gobin TowerStone Mauritius Managing Director, Business Development
Khemil has a rich career of more than 30 years in Strategic Human Resource Management and Development at senior management / corporate level. He holds professional qualifications in Human Resources Management from the Chartered Institute of Personnel Management, UK, along with a Master in Business Administration (MBA) and a Master of Philosophy (M Phil) from the University of Bradford, UK.
His wide international exposure in the field of Human Resources which includes professional affiliations with the UNDP Headquarters and the Office of Personnel Management, USA has forged him into a seasoned Human Resource professional.
He has been in consulting practice over the last 8 years and has undertaken assignments for the Commonwealth Secretariat, the COMESA, and the African Development Bank. He is also a Fellow of the Chartered Management Institute (FCMI), UK.
Khemil sees the Human Capital as a most valuable asset which needs to be unleashed to gear organisations towards sustainable growth and excellence. He has a passion for Performance Enhancement which he believes remain the key to organisational success, employee empowerment and sustainability. |

Johnny Johnson Director, Consultant
Johnny is responsible for the development of brand strategies and communication plans, including employee engagement, and the activation of these plans.
Johnny has extensive brand and communication experience from working on valuable local and international brands at leading advertising agencies. He has also run his own independent brand strategy and communications company.
He is passionate about brands and their ability to make communication persuasive. He believes that great brands are created internally by employees living them and that only then can they be sustainably extended to external stakeholders. |

Malcolm Ferguson TowerStone South General Manager, Consultant, Facilitator
Malcolm joined Towerstone in 2010 to pursue his passion for building sustainable teams through the concept of Brand Ambassadorship.
Malcolm’s key role is building partnerships with clients in the Western Cape, and his secondary role is ensuring that TowerStone’s core value of professionalism permeates our offering.
He spent the first part of his career building a track record for facilitating collaboration, optimising resources and assessing feasibility in diverse contexts. During this time, he led multi-disciplinary teams on a range of projects, from designing a virtual reality centre for a multinational technology company, to coordinating a poverty eradication programme for the Department of Welfare. An MBA in 2002 provided the framework for Malcolm’s further growth, and since then he has built teams for ecotourism and software development.
Malcolm believes that the key to sustainable growth is translating common sense into common practice. His life purpose is to facilitate growth by connecting with others and encouraging them to focus on what matters most. |

Nandish Torul TowerStone Mauritius Business Development, Facilitator
Nandish is qualified in Industrial Psychology and Economics from the University of Transkei, SA. He also holds a BTech from UNISA, SA. He is a registered psychometrist with the Health and Dental Association of South Africa.
He has a passion for Industrial Psychology, a subject which he has lectured at the University of Transkei, SA and the University of Technology, Mauritius. He has developed his Business Management acumen through working on projects, ranging from Change Management, Business Solutions, Facilitation and Network Marketing both locally and internationally.
Nandish is a firm believer in Team work and Brand Ambassadorship; he enjoys working with individuals to challenge their self limiting beliefs and knows that all individuals have talents waiting to be explored and unlocked. He loves keeping fit, enjoys nature and lives by the motto, life is all about breathing healthy. |

Annamarie Viviers Consultant, Facilitator
Annamarie joined TowerStone in August 2009 as a coach and facilitator.
Her career of 32 years in the government and private sector as well as the corporate, business world always focused on human- and organisational behaviour, development, performance and transformation.
Her strong ability to connect with the hearts and minds of people on all levels made her a highly successful facilitator, change agent and human resource consultant.

Lisa le Roux Facilitator
Lisa joined TowerStone in October 2007 and is responsible for content development and facilitation. She also performs various administrative and marketing tasks. Lisa's background is in education with experience in content development for a large publishing house.
Prior to joining TowerStone, Lisa was Director of Studies for a leading Education Group where she fulfilled various management functions as well as lecturing responsibilities. Lisa has been in the field of Education and Training for the past 18 years. Lisa has a love for developing people and is passionate about their growth. |

Andre Ford Facilitator
Andre joined TowerStone in April 2008. Andre facilitates various skills based programmes, and also provide support to our facilitators.
Andre's key responsibility areas include the Individual Value Assessment process that we conduct for some of our customers. He works with the Individual Value Assessment through the Cultural Transformation Tool by Richard Barret. His aim is to be a qualified facilitator on our Leadership Development Programme by the end of 2008.
Prior to joining TowerStone, Andre was a Call Centre Team leader at a large Technology / Business Services Company. Andre was responsible for compliance to Service Level Agreements and resource management of the Customer Interaction Centre. He was also part of a task team responsible for for continuous improvement implementing solutions. |

Alexa Zengeni Facilitator
Alexa Zengen joined TowerStone in January 2011. She is involved in delivery with facilitation, coaching and business consulting aspects of the business.
She has worked in corporate human resources as a generalist for over 10 years, primarily in the financial services sector, her favourite role in Human Resources Management being facilitation.
Her passion is to lead individuals to discover their strengths and to optimise their partnership with their clients, employer and/or employees to build sustainable organisations. |

Alistaire Lategan Facilitator
Alistaire’s purpose is to partner with leaders and creatively facilitate their unique influence through the TowerStone portfolio of offerings.
Alistaire is primarily responsible for facilition TowrerStones offerings. He also assist with content development. Alistaire's role at Towerstone is aided by his involvement with leaders spanning over 20 years and covering a vast field of empowering emerging and established leaders in different fields.
Prior to joining Towerstone in 2009, Alistaire lectured in the Leadership and Theological field and recently ran his own company in empowering leaders in business. .
His competencies and experiences range from facilitating HBDI (Hermann Brain Dominance Instrument), researching current trends in leadership, strategic thinking processes to mentoring. |

Marcel Pretorius Facilitator
Marcel started his journey with TowerStone in 2010.
He works closely with Brian Eagar. He is actively involved in business development at TowerStone.
Marcel previously managed his own business and had the opportunity to work with many diverse and interesting people from all walks of life. He has travelled extensively and has gained valuable experience into the cultural backgrounds of people.
Prior to joining TowerStone Marcel was involved in presenting live National telelvision shows for some time and is often emceeing / facilitating at many events and functions.
Realising he has much more to offer he was inspired to help and grow people on a more personal level.
He identified this as one of his life purposes. |

Ilse Coetzee Office Manager
Ilse is responsible for all the back office support at TowerStone.
Prior to joining the TowerStone team, Ilse had many years experience as an administrative clerk within the motor trade working together with insurance companies. She was responsible for any admin tasks required to final costing of insurance invoices.
Outside the office she enjoys quality family time, being outdoors and motorsport. |

Peace Boza Assitant, Office Administrator
Peace Boza joined TowerStone in 2010. He is employed as a mentee within the Towerstone Mentorship Programm. Peace is an Executive Assistant to the Regional Manager of TowerStone South. He assist on the administrative side of the business.
He matriculated at Chesterhouse, where he did the Cambridge Curriculum.
He is continuing with his business studies program.
Peace is the youngest member of TowerStone. Peace completed his Facilitation Training in 2010. His aim is to learn as much as he can so that he can be a qualified facilitator at TowerStone.
His vision in life is to empower young leaders. Peace’s purpose in life is to honour and make proud those who believe in him and support him. |

Madga Dickens Assistant, Office Administrator
Magda assists Johnny Johnson with the development of brand and communications strategies and their activation.
She helps inform strategic planning through desk research and the analysis of primary research. She is also responsible for preparing persuasive presentations. In addition she contributes to the administrative needs of TowerStone.
Her purpose is facilitating order. She is passionate about using technology to both create order and to facilitate communication. |

Kim Lehanya Receptionist, Office Administrator
Kim started at TowerStone in February 2011. Her responsibility at TowerStone is that of a Receptionist and Office Administrator.
Her purpose for joining TowerStone is that she wants to experience working with such a dynamic team. This will expand her knowledge in different sectors of the business environment and will grow her as a human being. She believes in the purpose of TowerStone of finding fulfillment in the workplace.
Her objective is to use all that she has learnt from the company and invest it back to Towestone, thereby adding value to her work and the company as a whole.
Her purpose is to inspire the less fortunate originating from a similar background, by encouraging them to study. Through education, she believes, that you can be anything you want to be in life. |
